Dr. Chris Capps

Dr. Capps has been practicing in the Upstate for 9 years. The first 6 years were spent primarily as a general practitioner doing weekend relief work at local emergency rooms, the last 3 years have been spent exclusively in referral emergency practice and providing surgical services to busy local family veterinarians.  Dr. Capps is a graduate of Greenville’s Southside High School, Clemson University and the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.  He has a special interest in respiratory disease, urinary tract disorders, and ophthalmic (eye) disorders.

In his spare time Dr. Capps enjoys cycling, running, and exploring our nation’s national parks.  He is also an avid Clemson Tigers fan, he enjoys attending football, baseball, and soccer games as much as possible to cheer on the Tigers.
